    Inter House Table Tennis Boys

A healthy nation is always a wealthy nation. Therefore, it is necessary to put emphasis on sports. One can think of a healthy mind only when the boy is healthy. To develop the same an Inter House Table Tennis was held in our School, from the 15th of May to 18th of May. This time it was organized in a completely different way. First we had all the league matches and then the semi-finals. This time all the players who participated from different houses, i.e. Onyx, Turquoise, Garnet and Topaz, but unfortunately could not qualify, were also given the chance to witness the finals of the table tennis tournament. The event witnessed the excitement of students as they cheered for their respective houses. Some players played very confidently while some were quite nervous. Some were playing attacking games while some played defensive. The results were as follows: D Division – Anubhav Subba Vs Roman Chettri Winner: Anubhav Subba (Turquoise) / C Division – Siyon Rai Vs Ayush Rai Winner: Siyon Rai (Onyx) / B Division – Nischal Chettri Vs Brijesh Rai Winner: Nischal Chettri (Onyx) / A Division – Reshap Chettri Vs Bhawesh Ghatani Winner: Reshap Chettri (Onyx).

I would like to thank Sir Kalyan Mukhia and our coach Mr. Devanshu for training us. I would like to thank our respected Director for organizing such a wonderful event. Special thanks to Sir Rabi Subba and Sir Ashish Gurung for conducting the matches. Onyx House took the overall championship trophy. Congratulations to all the onyx house participants. Winning and losing is a part of the game and to all those who were not able to win, we should not forget that: “Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try” Nischal Chettri (IX Sc.)
