Goa, one of the smallest places in India but one of the best too. Our school authorities organised an educational trip to Kolkata, Goa and Bengaluru for us.

We started on the 8th of January from Darjeeling at 3pm, reached Siliguri and boarded the train at 9:30pm. The next morning we reached Kolkata. We visited the Science City, Evolution Park, Victoria Memorial and went for shopping in the evening. At night, we boarded the Amravati Express and headed towards our destination, Goa.

On the 12th we reached Goa, in the evening. We were allotted rooms at the hotel and after some quick refreshment everyone was ready for the beach disco. The next day we started from Arambol Beach. The expanse of the beach left us enchanted. Then we went to Vagator beach and Anjuna beach.
Next day our Director and Ma’am A.Thapa joined us. We went to watch the dolphins and were lucky to spot 4 of them! Then we went to Vagator beach and Calangute beach and had lots of fun. We went to sweet lake the next day. We learnt to swim there and got baked in the sun. In the evening we went to the local market for shopping.
On the last day,we went to Dona Paula beach and St. Francis Xavier’s Church. Soon it was time for us to bid goodbye to Goa. We boarded the night bus to Bengaluru and reached there at 5am. We stayed in the youth hostel. In the afternoon we went for shopping. The next day we went to the Ganesh temple, the bull Temple, Iskone Mandir, Lal Bagh, Tipu Sultan’s Palace and Science and Technology Museum. The same evening we boarded the train and reached NJP at 3 am on 19th of January.
On behalf of all the students, I would like to thank our Director and the school authorities for organizing such a wonderful trip and we would also like to thank Sir D.Parajuli, Ma’am S.Parajuli and Sir K.Singh for escorting us.
