Dear Parents,

My hearty congratulations to all the staff students- past and present, and parents on the launch of the new Gyanoday Niketan website.

This remarkable technological tool shall certainly open up new avenues of communication between Gyanoday Niketan and all Her stake holders (teachers, parents, students, alumni, and society at large and others) and further assist us in fulfilling our objectives of providing quality education to our students and address their growing needs for an effective platform, a device, which they can utilize to express and share their positive thoughts, skills and talents to augment this growth process that we refer to as education.

Now a 25 year-old institution, Gyanoday Niketan holds a prestigious position among the ICSE schools in the Hills of Darjeeling, and I feel blessed to be a part of this wonderful institution.

With a dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff members tirelessly devoting themselves to teaching and assisting each and every student in the making of a true human being, the children here imbibe the ingredients that aid each and every one of them to prepare themselves to live their lives with dignity, self-esteem and courage. Every child is a unique entity in his or her own way and the mission of our education system is to hone their inherent qualities and assist them in acquiring all the elements necessary to bloom and mature, and be a part of our social system so that every one of them may be an instrument of God and further the cause of “peace and joy”, “progress and development”, “enlargement of moral and spiritual qualities” of self and the humanity as a whole.
